Two women standing arm in arm, with European skirts worn draped over their shoulders. One holds a spear or digging stick. Plain studio background. [LM 11/2/2009] This print was rephotographed by Dammann reusing a mount from another photograph from Hamburg, since the term "Bardowiekerin" refers to a female resident of a place called Bardowiek, in Lower Saxony.
