Manual Catalogues - The Dietrich collection of photographs for the Godeffroy Museum are catalogued in the section Verzeichniss der Photographien in Die Ethnographisch-Anthropologische Abtheilung des Museum Godeffroy in Hamburg: Ein beitrag zur kunde der sudsee-volker, J.D.E. Schmeltz and R. Krause, 1881. No. 50 (page 504) is captioned 'Mit No. 49 fast identisch, der Mann nimmt nur eine etwas andere Stellung ein, hält den Schild in der Gegend des Unterleibes und die Keule oberhalb des Kopfes.
